Learn Spanish

Working at Universpain presents the ideal opportunity to boost your CV with that all important second or third language.  Whether they have graduated in Spanish with flying colours, or are a just a modest beginner, Universpain offers all their interns the chance to do a 2 week language course with the school.  However, you’re education won’t end there – living and working in a country is by far the best way to learn a language, and interns will have to find a common language in which to communicate with their colleagues and fellow interns.  Interns can also continue to practice what they have learnt using the online resources on the Universpain website.

Aside from doing a Spanish course, there are a variety of different ways to learn and improve your grasp of the Spanish language, the most sociable being by doing a cultural exchange.  The University of Salamanca has a special page devoted to “intercambios”.  People wishing to improve their Spanish are invited to put an announcement up on the University web page, specifying which language they wish to speak and which language they can offer in exchange.  The idea is that you speak in Spanish for the first half hour and in English for the second.  However, one hour soon rolls into two, helped along by the consumption of excellent food and drink, and you’ll find you’ve made a friend for life before you know it!  Doing a language exchange is a great way of meeting native Spanish speakers, and of course, of making friends!
